Battles Caustic Soda

Battles Caustic Soda is an effective, heavy-duty solution for unblocking drains and ridding dairy utensils of dirt and bacteria. The formula is ideal for regular use around the farm, helping to maintain sanitary conditions year-round.

1. Open container carefully, keeping it upright, on a firm flat surface.
2. Gradually add half the contents of the pack to 1.25 litres of cold water in a plastic bucket and stir well with a wooden stick until caustic soda is dissolved (this process will generate heat and must be carried out with care). Replace cap immediately.
3. Slowly pour the solution, which will now be warm, down the pipe or drain.
4. Leave for 20 minutes and then flush with hot water.
5. Repeat the process as necessary.
