Pooch & Mutt was founded in 2008 by Guy Blaskey, son of Clare Blaskey, the founder of one of the world’s most successful equine supplement companies - Blue Chip Feed.
When the family’s dog, Cookie, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a failure of the hip joints to develop normally causing limping and pain, Guy had an idea! He decided to try the Blue Chip Dynamic Joint Supplement and was amazed by the results.
Even so, Guy came to the conclusion that the product wasn’t totally right for dogs, and Cookie didn’t like the taste of the horse supplement.
Guy contacted Blue Chip’s nutritionist and since then Pooch & Mutt have quickly established themselves as a leading supplier of dog products and an award-winning company.
